The Red Cross also operates a Medical Home Loan Service.  This is particularly useful for those who have a temporary need or perhaps have a relative staying with them, who needs a particular piece of equipment to help their daily living.

Equipment provided under this scheme includes: -

  • Wheelchairs;

  • Backrests;

  • Bath seats;

  • Commodes, bedpans and urinals; and

  • Walking sticks and frames.
