We promote the active participation of Disabled People in securing the necessary facilities and support to ensure maximum choice through full inclusion into all aspects of society.
Aims
To promote the vision of HCODP.
To campaign, through the Disabled People’s Movement locally, nationally and internationally, for all Disabled People’s human and civil rights.
To use the social model of disability to underpin all of our activities.
To promote the full inclusion of Disabled People.
To be a county-wide, democratic organisation run and controlled by Disabled People.
To represent the views and aspirations of those Disabled People living in Hampshire who agree with our vision.
To be recognised as a body to be properly consulted at all times on Disabled People’s issues.
To regularly review HCODP's vision, aims, objectives and stategic/business plan.
To encourage the participation of Disabled People from groups currently under-represented in HCODP.
To be non-party political.
